Our client is a listed MNC with several eminent retail brands under the umbrella. They have a strong presence globally, in 40+ significant markets. The firm is forward-looking, embrace changes and encourage transformation. Their trading volume has grown rapidly, and eager to capture the market and expand further. With the changing needs of the markets and commitment towards sustainable development & growth in the regions, they are currently looking for a Legal talent to join the legal team in the regional office - Hong Kong.


Responsibilities

Report directly to the AGC who sits in Hong Kong. Take care of wide range of commercial contracts and agreements at regional level. Be the subject matter expert in Employment Law. Liaise and coordinate with local internal and/or external counsels. You will support in projects and ad hoc assignments.

• Draft, review and negotiate full spectrum of commercial contracts and agreements

• Be the go-to person for Employment related legal matters

• Advise on Technology matters

• Provide legal advice to various business units and relevant stakeholders

• Identify and mitigate legal, compliance and regulatory risks

• Raise legal and compliance awareness in the business and enhance corporate governance by improving relevant framework

• Liaise and communicate with regional internal stakeholders and external professionals

• Support ad hoc projects and assignments


Experience

Qualified lawyer with 8+ PQE gained from law firm and commercial environment, preferably in retail/luxury retail/apparel/fashion/FMCG, with regional experience. Possess Chinese and English drafting skills and business sense. Strong in contract management. As one of the main legal representatives in the company, you must possess excellent presentation, effective communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good language ability, fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Possess a strategic mindset, excellent risk awareness and being ethical. Self-driven, hands-on, proactive, embrace changes, flexible and open-minded.
