Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) at the time of appointment.


Responsibilities

  • develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies specific to overseas countries and regions and independently identify and engage talents
  • cultivate and nurture strong relationships with influential figures, government officials and business leaders overseas
  • facilitate cross-border initiatives and projects between Hong Kong and overseas countries and regions, promoting collaboration in talent development, innovation and economic partnerships
  • proactively devise and implement talent attraction and engagement strategies
  • provide effective guidance and supervision to the team of professionals underpinned to optimise team performance and leverage their collective expertise to achieve optimal outcomes
  • collaborate with internal teams to leverage synergies to enhance the overall

Experience

  • a minimum of 15 years' full-time post-qualifications work experience, including over 10 years of work experience in collaborating with stakeholders in overseas countries and regions and over 5 years of work experience at managerial level in private and/or public sectors
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • excellent understanding of government affairs especially on engaging talents
  • proven track record of hands-on collaborative experience in dealing with different parties in the government and business sectors, and providing excellent customer services to stakeholders
  • proficiency in the application of common business software (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Chinese and English word processing

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferably in commerce from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent.
