Quality Officer - Seasonal and Home Decor

Our client is a global EU buying office with regional office in Hong Kong. Due to business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Quality Officer for their hardgoods team – Seasonal / Home Décor. 

• Working closely with the buyers from HQ, internal R&D team, and CSR team to ensure the product range meet the compliance standards, including quality management and product inspection. 
• Necessary buying trips to suppliers across China and other Asian countries to manage factory evaluation, samples evaluation, test reports review and inspection process
• Evaluate and ensure production inspection which is fit for production and meets technical and safety standards 
• Manage 3rd party inspection process and review factory audit reports and lab reports 
• Maintain and develop long-term partnership with suppliers in providing technical support, monitor suppliers’ performance, follow up clients’ feedback and complaints related to quality issues along the production process

• Diploma or Degree in any disciplines 
• 3-5 years of solid experience in hardgoods for all non-electronic items within quality management 
• Global buying office experience is required 
• Strong communication in Chinese and Mandarin with internal and external parties 
• Self-starter, independent and with mature mind-set
