Assignments

At Adecco, we pride ourselves on creating the right “matches” - matching your job preferences and skills with our clients’ needs.

 You are required to notify the Adecco office regarding your availability for work.  We suggest you to contact our local office at least once per week. We will contact you if we have an assignment that matches your skills, experience and qualifications.You should have a working telephone number so that we can reach you or leave you message.

When you accept the assignment, you make a commitment to deliver your services and complete  the stated working duration regarding the assignment. 

Prior to your assignment:

To prepare yourself for starting a new assignment, please make sure you have:

  • The company’s name
  • The location, hours and duration of assignment
  • The specific tasks you will do
  • The hourly rate
  • The name of the person who you report to
  • Other details that will help you on your assignment
  • If you are going to be late or have any emergency / illness that  make you absent, you must make a call to Adecco before the start of your assignment. Adecco will talk to the respective client and explain the situation.
  • Your consultant will provide you his / her mobile number and be available for you to contact or leave a message at any time.

While on assignment:

  • Follow with the rules, policies, and procedures, as well as the working conditions established by Adecco clients at their premises.
  • Promptly let us know your complaints or disputes (if any) about your pay, or your assignment or working conditions to your Adecco Representative and/or the Adecco Contract Management Team.
  • Behave in a professional manner. Your personal conduct, such as conversations in the workplace, must not violate Adecco policies including, but not limited to, Adecco Anti-harassment Policy contained in this handbook. You will refrain from threatening action, conduct or language.
  • Your employment with Adecco requires you to comply with our policies and procedures. At worst, your assignment might be terminated if you don’t comply with our policies and procedures.
  • Your employment with Adecco is agreed with mutual consent (at-will)(employment), which means an employment relationship of which either party can break it with no liability by giving the notice as agreed, except for unlawful reasons.
  • Follow the submittal procedures described in the Associate Induction Guide and be punctual, so we have the information required to proceed your salary payment.
  • Arrive on time each day of your assignment. Dress appropriately for every assignment. Your Adecco Representative will tell you what is expected.  If you’re in doubt, we suggest you always dress up Do not shy on asking  questions about the tasks you are performing. If you are not sure, check with the client representative.
  • Do not make personal calls at the job assignment/client site. If you must make a personal call, we suggest you make it during a break. Making long distance calls during the assignment is not permitted and you will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • Do not approach the client about full-time employment. If you have an interest in a position, let your Adecco Representative know.  We will provide a better approach for you.
