Senior Legal Manager

Our client is a joint multi-national Family Office with a comprehensive expansion plan in APAC region. Their investment team has innovative strategies that invest in different sectors, hence driving the business further. Their trading volume has grown rapidly, and eager to expand further. With the changing needs of the markets and commitment towards sustainable development & growth in the regions, they are currently looking for an experienced Legal professional to join the team. The role is based in Hong Kong.

You will be taking care of deals/transactional matters in the Investment Office. You will be the subject matter expert in facing top management and external professionals. You will drive and manage projects and ad hoc assignments.

• Oversees legal and compliance matters related to investment projects/deals, i.e. funds, private equity, venture capital, investments etc.

• Mitigate and monitor legal and regulatory risks

• Advise on legal and regulatory requirements

• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents related to investment

• Design and implement SOP

• Liaise with external professionals, i.e. counsels, tax, risk, compliance consultants

Qualified Lawyer in common law jurisdictions. 7+ PQE gained from private practice and/or in-house environment. Hedge Fund and PE experience is a must. Possess excellent presentation and communication skills, a strategic mindset, excellent risk awareness and being ethical. Embrace changes, flexible and open-minded. Able to read and write in Chinese and Excellent in English.
