Our client is currently seeking a highly talented individual to join our esteemed family office with a starting presence in Hong Kong to cover Greater China. With the ambitions to become a prominent player in the investment industry, we manage a diverse portfolio and deploy institutional-sized capital across various asset classes and industry sectors. Our primary objective is to proactively identify investment opportunities and achieve risk management and wealth preservation through strategic diversification.

Investment Analyst or Associate reporting to senior management on the Investment Team.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of private & public investment opportunities spanning equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments, within different asset classes.
  • Perform in-depth research, on-site due diligence and evaluation of potential investments based on their risk-return profiles, market trends, and financial performance.
  • Prepare meticulous investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee, ensuring clear articulation of investment recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, economic indicators, and regulatory changes, while providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on fund performance.
  • Assist in the execution of special projects and initiatives related to FO investment.

Experience

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in portfolio investment and management, preferably with a background in fund management, investment banking, or equity research.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and business operations.  
  • Possession of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Real Assets and Healthcare sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English, additionally, proficiency in at least one Asian language preferred.
