Chief Operating Officer

As the Chief Operating Officer for a startup family Office/Investment office in Hong Kong, your key responsibility will be to:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency and optimize performance within the organization
• Collaborate with senior management to formulate and execute business plans, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and goals
• Establish and maintain robust operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
• Monitor and assess operational risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies to safeguard the firm's interests
• Drive innovation and stay abreast of industry trends, identifying opportunities for business growth and improvement
• Oversee the budgeting and financial management processes, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control

Experience

• Exp in a senior leadership role within a FO, asset manager or similar financial institution with SFC 1,4,6,9 licenses, setup & regulatory compliances
• Strong knowledge of buy-side and sell-side activities, including investment management, trading and client servicing
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement operational plans to drive business growth and efficiency
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound decisions in complex situations
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or other relevant certifications (i.e., CPA, CFA) are a plus.
