Our client, a reputable bank is looking for a high-caliber candidate to be their Trade Finance Manager (WC-CS):

• Manages daily processing of import / export transactions at acceptable productivity standard
• Innovates re-engineering of operational workflows and the respective system advancement to provide effective operational services.
• Liaises with the Marketing Department on bills-related issues, including product development
• Improves customer services as a competitive services provider.
• Executes any new Operating / Control / Credit / Accounting Policies as to ensure of full compliance with the respective corporation policies, legal and regulatory requirement.
• Discusses with the Trade Technical Advisor, if necessary, to review and make transactional decision on complicated transaction
• Safeguards the Bank free from operating risks
• Fully utilizes the given resources and best controls running expenses in Trade Operations under budget.
• Defines the training and development plan for staff in Department

• University degree with 10 years’ experience or matriculation with 15 years’ experience with 5 years in managerial level
• Sound knowledge in Bills Operations, especially about the international trade financing practice under ICC UCP publications.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial laws, government regulations and bank's operational policies and procedures.
• Exposure in trade related system project with knowledge of electronic banking
• Good knowledge in workflow technology and system environment
• Able to work under a high technology and fasts changing environment
