Our Client, a Top-Tier Bank is looking for a high calibre candidate to be their Production Manager, Publishing section:

• Responsible for planning, coordination and control of production operations and systems ensuring that projects are quoted, produced and delivered with a high degree of quality, accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the department and effectively manages and leads staff in the production area.
• Enforce department guidelines, policies and procedures through regular communication with staff and co-ordination with team leaders
• Evaluates specifications for materials and provides solutions for revising project design to improve costs or production feasibility
• Incorporate official sales forecasts into production planning.
• Monitor production schedules, inventory, staff availability and equipment status to anticipate and address potential problem areas
• Ensures all creative expectations are understood and advises of any added-value knowledge
• Monitor the production progress, inventory status and sales moving trend so as to respond fluctuating sales demand and revise the production plan to fulfill market need
• Formulate and develop production plans, strategies, policies and procedures for production
• Oversee and support quality management system programs and initiatives, providing input for improvements to the Quality Assurance Manager where necessary
• Ensure monitoring of product standards and implementing quality control programs
• Evaluate existing systems and processes of quality measurement and development and make appropriate improvements

• 7-10 years experience managing print production programs, ideally in the marketing and communications field and experience with direct marketing production  
• University graduate in a relevant field or equivalent experience in an agency environment
• Ability to problem solve and recommend production/design-appropriate solutions
• Highly organised with an ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent project management and time/schedule management skills
• Proficient on PC and/or Mac Platform with strong MS Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Microsoft Project skills is be an asset
• Possess strong analytical skills, with a logical approach to problem solving.
