A world-renowned of financial services provider is looking for a Network Engineer to join its Hong Kong office. (CEN-VW)

Reporting to Network Manager, the candidate will working in a dynamic environment, he/she will work with global team but will operate in a small team in the Hong Kong office.

• Responsible for the performance and maintenance of production network
• Support of production systems with high uptime requirements
• Coordinate with external vendors and maintaining a stable WAN/LAN connectivity technology environment
• Responsible for preventative maintenance, fault management, and project management
• Liaising with regional team to maintain a robust networking infrastructure to meet business requirement
• Involved in all hands-on technical support aspects of the network management and control
• Assisting with design, testing and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plans

• Degree holder in Computer Science or similar discipline, CCNP or similar technical certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years networking implementation experience
• Extensive configuration experience of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP and routers, hubs and switches a distinct asset
• Practical working experience with Cisco products and IOS software, routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP etc. Cisco or Juniper experiences a definite plus
• Strong initiative and self-starter, excellent troubleshooting and time management abilities are desired qualities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to all levels as well as close to native spoken English and Chinese are a necessity
